Borla Exhaust
Here is a sound clip of my magnaflow universal, welded in with a 90 turn to the original piping. Sorry, the sound was recorded with my Mp3 player.

I'm in the exhaust boat as well...I have Flowmaster on my 57 Chevy but...thats a 327 V8. So big sound difference there. Had Cherry Bomb glasspacks on my 79 CJ7 but that had a AMC 304 V8. Heard Gibson, heard Magnaflow...and I've heard Borla on a TJ before. So far the Magnaflow sounds the best. Although I would like to hear that Flowmaster setup Rubidozer has.
Wish that some exhaust shop would put sound clips of ALL the different types of Mufflers out there on a JK...wishful thinking I know.
But I have pretty much decided I am going to go with a single inlet/duel outlet Magnaflow muffer from Summit Racing or Jegs for about $110 and letting my local muffler shop run some duel pipes out the back and angle some chrome 3" dia 12" long tips out the back sides. If there is room of course...

Personally as far as mufflers go, I always shop price, quality, and flow. Most vehicles will sound very similar between mufflers, with only moderate differences in volumes. Some that do sound a little different are flowmasters and anything that changes the flow of the exhaust gases to modify sound instead of the original exhaust packing method. Aside from that, the bigger the muffler body, generally the quieter the muffler do to more sound absorbing material.
borla makes a single in ,dual out for camaros and firebirds available in 2.5 and 3 inch a couple 90's and tips and you have acool dualsetup....my guess that the jk setup will be the same as the h3
