Brakes...
AS for the 9000 lbs of braking power... I towed my 98 Tj with my JK to rausche Creek only once. I am running 33's and 4.10 gears and manual trans, and the JK did NOT want to stop. If i had not watched well ahead and used the tranny and brakes together my stopping distance would have been unbelivable. As for factory trim while not towing a 3200 tj, brakes are well suited for th JK, The best Jeep brakes i have had in a long time. But when they do need replaced i will be upgrading them. But as long as they are good. i Like them.

Did your trailer have brakes??? Any trailer with a GVWR over 3000lbs is required to have brakes. The trailer brakes should be able to stop the extra weight of the trailer. You should feel minimal stopping difference on a properly set up trailer. I tow about 4200lbs with mine. Stops just fine. Trailer has tandem axle with one set of drum brakes.
I'm running 35's and have added around 1200 lbs of goodies and my JK doesn't stop like it did when it was stock. Gets to be a bit scary at higher speeds, not to mention going down a steep grade. Hopefully aomething will hit the aftermarket soon.
Someone needs to come up with a kit to swap rotors and calipers from a WJ or WK onto the JK. Same bolt patterns and there are similar axle offerings.
The WJ rotors are 12" front and rear. The WK rotors are 12.9"/12.6" F/R.

I would really like more brake power. Just need to fit this into a 17" rim. So that would leave the Brembo brakes out.
