So you think the Teraflex does indeed put extra stress on them? In that case Ill just throw my stocker back on.

The factory welds suck. Also, if you have a lift that adds a riser to the axle side they add more stress to the bracket. When I had 44's I broke both the front and rear. The JKS braces are cheap insurance.

Well I am running stock, no lift. Don't know if that means my chances are any better.

My holes were wallowed so I had to weld them, should I just add more welding to the stock brackets?

Your chances are better. Some lift kits include brackets to lift the track bar link point and that adds a twisting force in addition to the L\R push and pull on the stock bracket. Bigger tires also put a higher load than stockers as the track bar is trying to keep a much larger mass from tryin to go left or right.

One of the cheapest, easiest gusset I added to the track bar is a small tab running from the coil spring bracket to the top of the track bar bracket.

What kind of welder to you have?

NO! the TF trac bar isn't putting anymore stress on the bracket that an oem or JKS bar. Getting the bracket reinforced is a wise thing to do

well, the braces are defiantely needed, but dont lose too much sleep because of the new trackbar.
MOST (not all) cases of trackbar bracket failure are from the extra torque put on the bracket by the extra "relocation" bracket.
The extra length of the additional bracket adds torque (rotational force at a distance)
Its like when you add a breaker bar to loosen a stuck nut.
with your TF adjustable trackbar, it should have been connected directly to the OEM bracket. (right?)
The result will be significantly less torque on the bracket and therefore less chance for failure.
That being said, I ordered the JKS adjustable TB AND the front and rear braces from JKS.
once youve experienced a TB bracket failure/ death wobble/ grueling ride home at 20-30mph, the parts dont seem so expensive...
good luck

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah the tf does mount in the stock location. These mounts do suck, both my front am rear holes were wallowed at 17k miles.

Yeah well mine broke turning a corner in a Wal-mart parking lot. I called my wife and had her bring my welder out, The manager there let me use their outlet. It's the metal that breaks in half, not the weld joint. It's like the guys at Jeep didn't think anyone would jack it up and put bigger tires on their ride.

Did you have any kind of track bar relocation bracket? Mine let loose but I'm pretty sure it was from strain caused by a non-bracked trackbar bracket. Upon inspection, it wasn't welded that great from the factory though.
