That's not a tailgate reinforcement, that's a spare tire delete cover for the tailgate vent. You hang a 35 on there and eventually it will pop the tailgate welds.

I decided to not put the spare on that. I will look into a different set up for the rear bumper or a reinforcement for tailgate after I finish the front bumper/winch. Thanks everyone and Iam still up for suggestions on my spare.
