BTW, YOU HAVE TO GREASE THE LOCK NUTS or they will break.

I did cut 1/2" or so from the returns because I was hitting at full flex.

Front subby fyed XHD.
Can you post a picture of the front and back of your Teraflex rock sliders where the fenders meet them? I was thinking of running these but thought the sliders stuck under them too much. I'm thinking the ends could be cut and the cap put back on. Looks good with 37's.
Thanks.

Here is a side shot. I have since beat the snot out of the pinch seam and painted it black. The Tera sliders dont bother me sticking pass the fenders.

Here are a few back when I had 33's

Nope, thats just a rubber gasket that Teraflex sends with the slider. Keeps the aluminum slider away from the body. I have since removed the top of the gasket because getting in and out, I tore the rolled edge off. So I just cut the rest off.

FYI - I love these sliders but the nutserts are a total PITA.

I mean on top of the slider, it looks like 3M grip tape.

On top of my slider the black rubber looking stuff actually is the nose of a flat piece of rubber that sits on top of the slider then runs down behind it. You have to punch a hole thru it to install the bolts.

Maybe this helps, this is the rubber piece as it came out of the box.

Thumbs down Be warned about Bushwacker flat flares!

This is my first post on this site and I appreciate all of the helpful suggestions. It took me several weeks of reading posts to decide between plastic and metal flares. I installed the flat fender flare set after spending $500 plus for them and $780 to have them painted to match the body. They went on beautifully and I got a lot of looks driving to the grocery store and work. However, if you plan on using your Wrangler as an actual off road vehicle watch out for any brush or small limbs. I backed over a less than 1 inch tree and completely destroyed the fender flare and inner liner. The flimsy plastic cracked and the cheap rivets popped completely off leaving the entire flare dangling in the wind. Never again will I buy a plastic flare. I was planning on having the inside of the flares lined but now I'm glad I didn't waste any more money. Planning on getting the M.O.R.E. metal flares in powder coat ASAP.

2010 Wrangler Rubicon 2dr
Stone White
Leather seats with heaters
DVD Nav and subwoofer
Dual tops
GatorHyde tub lining
Mastercraft handles
Quadratec mats

Planning
M.O.R.E stubby front bumper
M.O.R.E. rear bumper
3" lift
35's
Walker Evans Wheels
Muffler skid plate
PureJeep rockers

I might be a girl but my jeep is no street queen!
