A passenger car or 18 wheeler with huge flaps can still throw rocks.

I would go to court and fight it. Especially if you don't live there. If I had to deal with that, I'd move to a more realistic place.

Passenger cars and 18 wheelers with huge flaps don't have deep treads that grab gravel and then throw it at higher speeds.

Is mine to wide. Haha. That is why I love my fine state of Indiana, cause the cops do the same.

did you know that new tread depth on most commercial vehicles is deeper than 80 % of the mud tires on jeeps. Not to mention I have seen a concrete truck throw a brick through a windshield. It had pinched it between the duals at a construction site. It was not pretty. Sent using smoke signals

Name one vehicle that doesn't throw up rocks! Simply the luck of the draw. Wrong place right time!

Tires sticking out past the fenders just increases the chances of hitting another vehicle. Clearly the reason for the law. Doesn't mean I am going to make any changes to mine. Just glad I no longer live in PA.

If you are going to require fenders than you have to draw the line somewhere.
Flush with the tires seems pretty fair in all honesty.

I am glad GA doesn't have that rule though!
