Not sure why people are putting throttle bodies designed for 450+ hp viper engines on minivan motors? If you need more power supercharge or drop a hemi in it

100 bucks for a throttle body or 20k for a Hemi swap. Does not take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

I hear you, but have a strong suspicion there's a bit of a cost difference. Also, perhaps more technical install. So, if it provided gains, the ease of install and cost would make it worthwhile. Until I get a money dump....

Twice the electronic throttle control idiot light came on. Yesterday for the first time the traction control light also came on. When i turn the key off and restart, things are back to normal. All the eclectrical stuff still works when the engine cuts off, even seems as though power steering is working. So far, I've been able to safely get off the road or was in a safe area, but this is nuts. Two question for you all. Is this the mod or some other issue? Should I take it to the dealer as is, will they tell me my warranty is voided?
I had the same problem and got many advices and I thought its a very complicated issue.. I need tuning ,Something to do with airflow,ETC..
at the end it turned out to be a lose connection from the Throttle body hose (i'm not sure what does it called)
just check that everything is connected properly.
It cured the problem for good. I had the exact problem that you are facing right now.

20k for a hemi swap? Lol really?? Anyways all I am saying is that you will not see a big increase in horsepower by installing an over sized throttle body. Forced induction is the only way to get a modest increase in horsepower out of a 3.8. Gears are probably the next best mod to put the engine in its useable power band. Not saying cai, exhaust, and tuners don't help a little but that is all you will not see big gains from them. My $.02
