Yes this would bolt right in, you would have to change rear gears to match. An change your rear carrier to 3.73 above.

Can you suggest gears and maybe a link if its allowed. Thank you for replying. Also do I need new drive shafts? Like your username by the way. And if I'm reading the axle info that front axle should come complete with diff gears and shafts right? Also what about "u" joints do I need to change those.

Call and double check, but it should come complete, locker/gears/factory ball joints/inner & outer shafts + joints. Then you re-use your current hubs/brakes.

There are many different gear mfg's, but for a JK, the name on the box doesn't matter a whole lot. Compare price and warranty and get whatever you want. As long as they say 'JK' and are 4.10 to match the front. Check with any of the sites vendors for pricing. ( 4wd, 4ws, offroad elements, river city, quadratec, rebel, northridge, etc, etc)

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the front carrier is the only one you would have to change for 3.73+, right? So he would be good to go aside from changing the rear gears to 4.10.

He is putting a complete Rubi d44 front in , he would need to change the rear carrier to 3.73+.

Correct - d30 with 3.21's would need a new carrier. (new axle instead, so not an issue)

Incorrect - The rear d44 carrier is fine, just need new gears to match the front, and an install or master kit for it.

Im sure the front and rear gears need to be matching. When he throws it in 4x4 it will cause problems. When I blew my front axle in my old 07 I got it replaced and the dude didnt check that I had 4.10 gears put in. he put in stock 3.21 gears in the front. When In 4 wheel drive the Jeep wouldnt run correctly. Tires moved at a different speed and torque and caused all kinds of noises.

Or you could replace it with stronger unit like DynaTrac PR44, TeraFlex Tera44 or Tera30 so you dont have to worry making the tube & c stronger to resist bending.
