I pulled mine and replaced it with the mopar floor liner kit. I like the look.

I took my front carpet out for the same reason . This is what I did, so I wouldn't scratch up the floor and help reduce the heat and it's worked out great so far .

Carpet Removed - Reflectix Insulation (helps reduce heat)

did you put a bolt in the floor to hold it in place? whats that thing where the carpet clip usually goes?

lot's of people chose to go right over it but if there was any moister trapped in there like i had they will regret not doing the little bit of extra work.

FWIW, all my carpet is out. For a year, I had the front out since I don't like having the doors on most of the time and I have nice floormats for heat/noise. I left the back in so my dog wouldn't slip around when she was riding back there. Dog died and I got tired of that carpet getting wet and collecting leaves and garbage so it's all out. Yes, it's loud. That's the only disadvantage for me.

I might bedline the decks (not the walls) some day, but I'm not really in a hurry. My floormats work better than just lining, and I doubt it would mute the sound much if I did the rear "bed". I like the paint fine.

I want to do mine I pulled all my carpet out to do it but put it back in didn't have enough time and I don't know how I want to do it get it sprayed or man up and do it myself but I don't want it to be bad
