Default Carpet removal

I want to remove my carpet and apply Herculiner or something like that. Has anyone done this? Pro's & con's? Thanks.

i don't know anyone that has done it locally, but if you "search" there are a lot of people that have done it. i've done the inside and outside of my hardtop. looks cool and i like it a lot (line-x)

Good idea to have an impact and some wobblys to remove the seats...

I did it, and it's fantastic!!! I can't imagine ever having carpet again. Whoever decided to put carpet in any kind of SUV, Jeep, or truck should be hung up by their little toes!

I would like to look into how people are doing the rear of theirs. With the cubby cover and such being carpeted. Since our rear cage welding fiasco I'm thinking of a DIY bedliner kit like my buddy did in his pickup. Looks pretty stout.

Here's how I did mine https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...lined+rear+tub The rest of my cab will be done as soon as it's consistently in the 70's and sunny here. Curing time on the Herculiner is pretty painful if it's not hot out.
