Me too...I was thinking about buying this as an alternative to a safari top.

I just ordered one, so I'll take my own pictures when I use it.

A little nervous however, I ordered from a non-sponsor for 25.99 free shipping... // jeeptopdepot . com // i used google checkout and saw that my payment is going to none other than // tirepackage . com // wtf?

after my last wait for products from them I have lost hope in seeing this item for at least a month.

we shall see.

So what is it exactly? 2 bags with velcro straps and a couple webbed straps to put tension on the rear soft top bar?

Yeah two bags with velcro straps and 2 nylon straps with hooks. You don't get much for $30. Works ok once you figure out how to get it in the dang bag. Took me numerous tries of holding it up (folded) while trying to get the bag on and strapping it to the rollbar. Hoping this was just because of a new soft top, and the lack of flex in the sail.

I'll try to get some pics.

I bought it and installed it about a week ago. It works wonderfully and is just what I was looking for when I haul my daughter around this summer (don't want her to get too much sun). Also nice for those slightly sprinkely but otherwise nice days when you don't want wet seats.

The websites that I've seen it on just say the TJ, but the instructions that I got with it include the JK. A simple product, but good. Seams on the pockets are nice. Straps are simple but exactly what you need. A nice touch was a elastic loop that you can thread the strap through so it doesn't hang loose. I also talked to the guy that owns Clover Patch. Seems like real stand up guy.

By the way, you definitely don't want to have your soft top in safari mode with the sail flaps attached under the lip. It'll eventually stretch the material and give a crappy fit to your top. It happened to my TJ so I can say that first hand.

It may not be for everyone, but in my opinion its alot better and considerably more convenient than a safari top.

EDIT: P.S. I don't know that I installed it perfectly. I was in a hurry and did without too much care. It worked great though. No flapping or anything.

Hrrm. I thought they would roll up farther towards the top. O well, I look forward to mine showing up and testing everything out.

I think mine is up a bit higher, it all depends on how much material you can get in the bag. The picture they advertise shows it much higher, not sure, but I don't think its possible on a jk because of the way the rollbar bends. Went on the highway last night at 75, no flapping. Just the seat belt flap, need to fix that one of these days.

It's a distinct possibility that you can. I was going for function over fit and was in a hurry.

I just kind of folded/rolled it. was a pain, thinking it will get easier with time, but is it causing damage?
