looks like it works really well and it looks better than the pouches, IMO. I think that's what I'm going to do whenever mine shows up in the mail.

 

hey putnam dan i got a jk dual top and had the same issue i could not get the soft top on with those plastic inserts. went to the stealership and no advice. i checked every jk wth a soft top on the lot half had it hald did not . once i removed them i could get my top on ok. i guess its there incase the factory overcuts the material and its loose.

 

i am confused about this one. so driving with no windows and sail panels attached to the body is bad? i thought that was the how you were supposed to drive. top up all windows, top up no windows, or top down. i just drove back form moab at 80mph for 2.5 hours with no windows and no a single flutter other then some belt flapping.

 

Yup, I've got a sunrider top and there aint no way you're stuffing that sail panel into those bags without messing them up. That said, I would think that since they are so rigid, they could be ran just clipped into the body. I've ran 70mph like that with no problem but even at low speeds I've had them get blown out and start flapping on a real gusty day.
