Is it possible that the RockKrawler wedges might help? In addition to shifting the spring perch closer to level, it would give you about 1/2" more of spring height.

Here's a related thread ...

Anyone Using the Rock Krawler Wedges and JKS Spring Retainer?

I have the wedges and they fixed the rub between the 2.5" TF spring and JKS trackbar (passenger's side).

I actually had the same problem and solved it with shorter shocks. More in this thread ...
rear spring shifted out of place - is this common?
Yup, I think I'm going to be going with these. They're the teraflex half inch Rear coil spring spacers.

Thought about the shocks, too pricey though and I have good shocks too

I've been tempted to do this as well. The only thing that's prevented me from pulling the trigger is when my coil is seated correctly up top, it's relatively straight. I think I'll do the spacer and then see how it goes after that. If it still decides to start bowing out I'll be doing this as well. Hopefully it won't jeopardize the ride.

As for the Currie retainers....I've read that the bottom portion fits the AEV springs, but not the top

I'm thinking now I should've renamed this thread to; Quirks about AEV's "Premium" lift....In fact I may start a different thread for this

I would suggest not running a upper and a lower coil retainer. You can end up damaging the coil or the retainers. It's better to retain only one end, so your coil doesn't get tweeked from being pulled on at both ends.

So is it better if the coil unseats

It's ok if it unseats, it's not ok if there's no way to guide the coil back to frame, or some type of retainer on the axle end.

I'm pretty sure they're progressive springs, so the top of the springs probably don't have enough room for the clamp to fin in between the coils.

Well, my Currie lowers are installed, now I got to get the Teraflex 1/2 spacers to put in! It appears having the loose spring with a nipple guide, but having the lowers locked down seem like a safer alternative to having both locked down. I guess my progressive springs prohibiting the Currie uppers from fitting up top is a blessing in disguise.

So then is your recommendation to get a retainer for the bottom and use your guys half inch coil spacer with the long nipple type thing on it? and also I don't want any more lift in the rear end so is the half inch about the same size as the stock one? I mean, if it's raised up another half inch in the back I'm not going to lose sleep over it, just curious though.

Thanks for the help by the way
