there is no way you have 243 RWHP with those little add ons the 3.8 is rated at 202hp so you think you got 41hp out of them? well really you would need to get a LOT more because that 202hp is NOT RWHP

I have the XDI. Buttometer tested it shows improvement, actual mileage gains although nothing consistent becuz it sounds bitchin when you stomp on it. Pricey bugger but I do recommend one

Default Airaid

I have the Airaid and felt it improved throttle response. You have to be sure to disconnect the battery to have the ECM reset/relearn afterward to realize a bit of mileage increase. I'd like to get an oil-less filter eventually as I hate dealing with the cleaning/drying/re-oiling.

So what about the throttle body spacer. What does it add with the combo of the air intake or snorkel and exhaust. I did the flowmaster 40 last week and am on the bubble as to whether or not to do the snorkel or the air intake, but was also told the throttle body spacer was a good add. Is that true? What does it do to improve performance or is it all hype?

ok I just installed the Superchips flashpaq, I have 35's with 5.13's and had the hypertech till today. I cannot believe the HUGE difference I feel with it and I didnt even buy it for that, I wanted to be able to control the fan speeds and shut off the tpms. Anyone thinking of a cai should just get the flashpaq and then not have to worry about hydrolocking easier with a cai, they dont belong anywhere near a jeep that will ever see puddles offroad IMO

The Flashpaq doesn't have anything to do with a CAI unless you want to get the most out of it!

You see the CAI doesn't do much by itself, but add the Flashpaq, 93 octane tune, exhaust (Volant in my case), and it's shocking how my little Rubicon just screams along.
These little things (intake, exhaust) are just incremental untill you add the Flashpaq, then they all tie together and what was miserable to drive up hills now becomes interesting again.

I actually passed a truck pulling a trailer uphill today coming home from work! I would have never tried it before, but with the AEM intake, Superchip Flashpaq, both added to the heavy little Rubicon 6-speed (stock 4.10 gears & Volant dual exhaust) I just powered around him and let it rip! And this was in 4th, I was going slow enough that I could have gotten maybe 1.5K of rpms out of 3rd. Now this was a long hill (at least I could see nobody was coming) and I accelerated in 4th, then 5th, and then dropped it in 6th and held 75mph up the hill. Before the Flashpaq programmer and the AEM intake, it would not hold speed in 5th or 6th, and gave just the most meager acceleration in 4th.

Previously, with the Hypertech on premium tune, and the stock airbox, there didn't seem to be a lot of point in downshifting, but now the power hits immediately and the Jeep certainly seems to be benefitting from the increased air flow of the AEM intake.
And, the cruise control is actually somewhat useful now, even in 6th.

I have an AEM and it has performed well. I really like the oil free filter as it is much easier to maintain than the oiled type. It does a good job of filtration, and I have a slight increase in exceleration. No change in gas consumption.
