I don't usually run with with overdrive off so really don't have a good answer for you but 3500 RPM at 65 mph. I pull a 5x8 utility trailer with lawn equip twice a week and leave OD on and I can maintain speed no problem. Real world speaking not a bunch of charts. Drove a 4:88 Jeep and after installing my 5:13's he swapped for the same set up.

Thanks. I was curious cuz I pull a 3500lb boat. Did the guy who went from 4.88s to 5.13s notice any difference at highway speed? It's only around 120 rpm difference.

I just recently switched from 34" heavy toyos to 33" light duratracs thinking it would help pullin the boat up this one steep hill. I couldn't tell a difference at all. Mind you the overall rpm difference doing that was only 66 rpm.

Longhand I avg 18 Hwy and 15 around town to/from work backroads with big hills. With a 6-speed 4:88's on a '07-11 Jeep no doubt.

Now for strength ... meh I went 5:13's for strength reasons as 5:36's on a D44 front end is sketch with a teeny pinion. Now on a Dana 30 front the same holds true for 5:13's so some opt for 4:88's for the same reason. in terms of transmission options 6 speeds usually go 4:88's anyhow due to enherent gearing

Sorry I double checked today and O.D OFF I am @ 3250~ish @ 65 and 2250~ish O.D On @ 65
