Default Corvette C6 exhaust?

Somebody in my neighborhood just upgraded the mufflers for their C6 corvette, and I managed to snag the old ones before the garbage man came around. I'm currently running the stock JK exhaust, and want something that has a bit more sound and a bit less bulk, but with a 2 month old daughter my jeep fund is currently on E. Long story short can I put these C6 mufflers under the jeep? Has anyone done this before? And is this even a good idea?

The c6 has a hella bend in the muffler, right? And if I remember right they're also fairly bulky. If the muffler pipe is the same diameter then go on ahead, bolt it up, and see what it sounds like.

The c6's are plenty quiet on the highway and aren't obnoxious unless you're really getting into it......which the jeep doesn't have enough flow to do that.

Give it a go and see if you like it. If not then bolt the stock one back on.

I realize that I could probably fly my jeep to the moon if I threw enough money at it, I am looking more for information from people who have more experience. My knowledge is fairly limited to maintenance of pre-computer era vehicles, and I don't want to make my jk into a brick.

The only issue you might run into is the hangers froe the muffler might not be in the right spot. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though if they are close enough. If far off you can easily fab a mount bar for super cheap.

I have a generic Dynomax muffler on mine, and I love it.

Yeah, I expect the hangers to be completely wrong. The exhaust I am looking at putting in is actually a dual muffler setup.

Are you sure they'll both fit under the back? If you can pull it off they'll certainly look awesome. I'm concerned that the dual muffler may be too much muffler for the jeep.....it may be completely quiet with the exhaust getting split between the two mufflers.

It looks like it should fit, I may not end up saving any space over the stock muffler, but the look may be worth it. Both mufflers are smaller than the the stock jk one, but I can't yet speak for their muffling ability. I may end up only putting one under there, we'll have to see how it sounds/fits and what kind of work it takes to hang and plumb both.

My biggest concern by far is whether or not making this kind of change will cause me to throw codes. I believe not since it's after any sensors, but I really don't know for sure.
