Corvette C6 exhaust?
Alrighty, I finally managed to get time together and pull the stock muffler off. I have some side-by-side pictures, and a close representation of the final setup as my brain sees it.
The tips will have to be cut off and re-welded 90 degrees from where they are right now. The whole muffler setup will slide up a bit, it will hang a very small amount lower than the stock. Fabbing up a hanger setup and the y-pipe needed to tie in the second muffler will be the longest part of the process.

I haven't heard the future sound yet, I'm waiting until payday to pick up a few bends and a y. The guy that removed the mufflers from his corvette was pretty liberal with the saw, so I have to do some welding and grinding on that end of everything to get it all to fit together.
If it weren't for the drone, I'd honestly leave the mufflers out of the equation, the straight pipe has a snarl that can't be replicated.
The height is something I'll be dealing with. The hanger arms that are on the mufflers from the c6 are in the way for my mock up. Once I grind those off, I'll be able to fit the cans much closer under the body, and I'll only lose an inch or so of ground clearance. I don't really consider it a huge issue, because this is my daily and is rarely wheeled. When I do wheel, I take it pretty easy, so I can get to work on Monday.

Yeah, get all the mall-crawler one-liners in while you can. Once I can afford to have a third vehicle and dedicate the jeep to being a toy, the muffler clearance won't matter cause the 35's and lift will make plenty of room. It will be a few years though. Honestly trying to do as much as I can to my rig with whatever I can scrounge from between the couch cushions.
