Uh oh! I've attracted the interest of professionals! Fair warning, it's going to be a week or two, maybe even a month or two before I can get time/funds together for this. Not to mention the grudging acceptance from my better half...

Ha! And no worries, my first concern was that there would be a difference in the exhaust OD. Looking at ours up to 2012, it is 2.5. So with some work, it should be feasible.

Screw it, I'll get one of them rigged up this weekend and see how what that does to sound, space, and style, then I'll give it some time and see if the wife even notices...

If I like the way it works out, I'll get the dual setup together and running some time in the new year. Pics will follow, possibly video links for sound.

It never hurts to ask either. There are so many people on the earth now, somebody is bound to be more knowledgable about anything I could ever want to do. And you never know what somebody else has done before.

So thanks to the wiser minds, and I'll keep everyone posted as this idea takes shape.

Don't bother. The stock C6 exhaust is quiet. I changed mine to a Borla about 3 months after buying it.

Thanks for the info FDHog.

Thing is, now I'm going to try this just because I've had the idea floating around in my skull all day. If I hate it, I'll only be out the cost of some exhaust tubing. If not, then I may have stumbled on a cool idea.

Finally got around to some pictures. These shots are one of two C6 mufflers seen from the front, top, and side. I got down under the jeep this weekend, and it looks like everything will fit, but it is going to be pretty tight. I may have to cut those tips off the C6 mufflers and add a bend then weld them back on to get the look I want.

I'll try and get the stock JK muffler off sometime between now and Christmas, and hang one of the Corvette mufflers in its place. I'll get some comparison pictures at that point too.
