Wait a second... All of the lower control arms in the write ups have the adjustable end mounted to the axle. What gives?!

In my opinion it really does not matter what end the gold end is on. Currie recommends the gold end on the frame so that the Jam nut is protected from the rocks.

I would not worry about it.

but if mounted the other way then it will give more clearance for tires to turn? it seems if the manufacture recommends it that it should probably be done that way since thats how they designed it? But I have I've been running mine the opposite way for a while and have not had any issues....but I guess the shop that I had do it should have known that the adjustable end should go to the frame.

Just got off the phone with the engineer at Currie and he comfirmed that it is only to protect the jam nut and the threads from rock and serves no other purpose.

Again I would not go to the trouble of switching them around.

Sounds good. Thanks for making the call. I emailed them last night and they got back to me late this afternoon. They simply said put the gold end toward the frame...

Maybe Monday, for the sake of being proper, I'll correct them. If not, I guess it's no big deal.

Thanks again for the help!

WTF! I'm trying to swap them around right now, and noticed one of the rubber bushings on the johnny joint has burst through the control arm!
