I also took the X and Wrangler Unlimited decals and added my own...I like the "old school" Jeep across the front quarter panels...I really like the way black looks with rescue green...thought I would share...

Warm the sticker with a hairdryer and peel it off.

I didnt even warm it up. I just got my fingernail under and peeled it right off. No residue or anything. Im in south florida though, if its snowing outside you might wanna warm it up. It was about 90 outside when i did it.

Default Where are you getting the decals?

Where are you folks getting the decals?

I know the original poster, mmccurdy, said he got his at a local shop. I like original work you guys are putting on the sides. I just don't have any idea where I'd get something like that.

Are they a good quality vinyl that seems like it will last a long time?

Beel...I had mine done at a local sign shop...they can pretty much put anything on vinyl...any color...I brought them a pic of my old CJ with the letters and I measured how big I wanted them on the quarter panel...they did the rest for $5 whole dollars...

It took me 15 minutes max to take the stickers off and install the new ones...

The vinyl is 3M and has a "predicted" life span of 7 years...long enough for me...

thanx for the heads up on the sticker, mine will be gone by tommorrow.

as far as the vinal graphics, Iv done a whole bunch of them.

you need to provide vector art files to the sticker maker. You can generate these in illustrator. If you dont have or know illustrator, the sign shop may be able to make them from a high res image.

here is a site that has free vector files for about a dozen jeep logos as well as any other brand you can think of...
