Anyone have the AEV 2.5" lift and 35" tires? Do I need to cut the pinch seam?

Not sure if you have to bit I say why not?

It takes no time at all and a heavy layer of jb weld and I'm 5 years into my cut job..very simple mod with lots of gain

Sure, until you hit a large bump and your tires give you a little help.

Why the resistance to cutting it? Literally takes 5 minutes to prep and cut. 20 to JB Weld cleanly. A little sanding after it dries and then some color match touch up paint and it will look like it came that way. They actually come from the factory with it cut now. And really, all they do is stamp cut it. Nothing fancy.

Ok no resistance but I'm driving from NJ to FL on Saturday and getting the tires on tomorrow so I'm crunched for time
