Have you looked on Pirate4x4 for information on damaged coil springs? I'd think that forum might be a better resource given the hardercore use of their rigs. I'm definitely not educated about the structural integrity of something like that. I see what you're saying, and you seem to have a much more informed opinion based on your background. I have some similar damage from years ago.....spring still holding strong after years of decent wheeling. That doesn't mean diddly squat though. Watch....mine will prob disintegrate on the way home today

Lets hope your spring holds up. Haha. I do drive with my son in the Jeep often and it is somewhat of a family rig as well. It may be a good time to reach out to metalcloak and get more of their stuff. I’m kind of a metalcloak fanboy but they make great stuff. Maybe it’s a good time to just yank out the current springs and arms in exchange for metalcloak 3.5” GC components.
