Is the Dana 30 strong enough to support 35's?

I am trying to learn as best I can, before tomorrow... when I will be pulling the trigger on either an X or a Rubi... both black 6spd 4drs.... the x is an 08... the Rubi an 09. I can finance the extra money on the x at a longer period of time and put a lift on all under 0%... or I can get the Rubi and patiently wait to build her up as I can afford it. I might want to run 37's one day... so looks like I am leaning on the Rubi and patience... on the other hand, patience likes to burn a hole in my pocket!

For the added benefit of front and rear lockers and the 4:1 transfer ratio ALONE I would be happy...but, as I'm in my X now I'm building her up, rear Ected locker on order to be installed with 4.10 gears shortly, it's costly to do all this after the fact...but good luck and may the force be with you tomorrow

So whats like "the final answer" on this?
Alot of people seem to run 35s on the X's with the D30 front axles, because I am saving money right now to afford wheels and tires, I want to make sure I do everything the right way the first time. With a 4" lift and full set of arms, will this setup be fine for a while with the D30s, with say 90% time on road and 10% mild wheeling on trails, or should I consider beefing up the axle before I mount the 35s?

Also, I will be suffering with the 3.21 gears for a bit while I make up my mind between 4.88s and 5.13s... When I do regear, the D30 should be fine correct? Should I consider at a minimum axle sleeves or a cro-moly shaft?
which is better and how much will the new gears stress the axle, or will it actually make less stress for the axle?

I too would like to know the difference. I know a guy that is selling some CM Shafts off his TJ and would like to know if they fit before I bother wasting his time asking to purcahse these CM shafts.
