Default Daystar Upper Dash Panel

Hey does anyone have this:

If so I would really appreciate getting the dimensions of the 2 trays.

I was thinking of getting one but only if I could put down some eGrips tape.
The tape comes in various sizes. I just need to know how much area I need to cover.

If you aren't familiar with eGrips, it works REALLY well.

Cool.

Yeah, I have eGrips on my phone and it really does what it says it does.

(Pic from site.)

The site even has testomonials of people accidentially leaving their phone on their trunk, driving for 2 miles and it still held on.

Those trays look pretty conveinient but not if things are sliding around in them every time I make a turn.

eGrips are definitely the answer.

Thanks for helping out.

Sweet.

Thanks !

They have it in 4.75" x 9.5" black sheets for $19.95, so I will get that and cut.

I would post the website but it isn't a sponsored link.

Just Google "egrips". It's the first result.

Going back to the Daystar Upper Dash Panel;

Doesn't the GPS/satellite antenna attach to the back of the origional panel?

Does anyone know how it's attached? Screws, glue?

Will the new panel still accomodate?

Just remeber that if you put a cell phone above the radio it will mess up the compass. Just a thought.

That's ok. I already have a place for my phone.

Using this bracket (Although that's not my radio)

With this attached to the bracket.

The Dash Panel for my smokes and sunglasses.

Question

Has anyone mounted a video screen to the Daystar? If so, did it work out okay and do you have pics? Thanks, HBC
