As mentioned twice already. Use Planman's list. Most of my issue turned out to be worn ball joints.

So after driving around a bit today at one point i got borderline death wobble. This was with no dampener and the replacement hardware from northridge. Went home and removed the bolts again and checked everything...again. After that i installed my leaky dampener back on to see what difference it will make. Will update again.

My ball joints are brand new (dynatrac prosteer ball joints) so i doubt/hope it is not the cause. I will move onto the control arms when i get a chance and make sure they are torqued down as well

As you torque them down, make sure that the full weight of the Jeep is on the ground and not resting on the jackstands

just took it for a drive, with my first leaky teraflex dampener in so far i didnt get a shimmy, but the roads were fairly smooth. i will know once i get onto rough roads at speed. btw, i also lowered my tire pressure to about 27psi

at no point was the jeep on jackstands. everything is cranked down on the ground at static ride height.

some additional information.

on my trackbar, on the axle side. there is about 1mm probably close to 2mm of play in the bushing. i dont know how much actual play is allowed in a track bar bushing so i am not even sure if this can possibly be the cause. its such a minimal amount of 'play' i wouldnt even call it play, it looks more like flex from the bushing

http://youtu.be/rlnrLiCE3ss this is not my truck, but that amount of play is almost exactly what i have. very minimal, nothing abrupt, just looks like bushing flex

There us more to death wobble than just a trackbar, do u have a lift? If so did u loosen the control arm bolts before the lift install? If not you could loosen all the control arm bolts then rock the jeep back and forth then retorque I've heard of bound up bushings as being a culprit? Good luck with your issue

All my links were tightened while on the ground. The last time they were unbolted and retightened was probably 2k ago when i had my arms readjusted. I will be replacing my bolts with the northridge bolts sometime this month
