I have the Rancho covers on both front and rear 44,s
They are ductile iron and have both fill and level holes

Only thing I had a issue with was the OEM steering stabizer bracket would hit the front cover when the tie rod would move past over it

Had to cut the bracket done a little and then all was good

I noticed TeraFlex covers have 2 Fill Holes. One for High Pinion and one for Low. I kinda like that option but I don't run a High Pinion.... Also the housing drain plug I forgot about it because I used to get Gear oil all over my hands using it. I prefer the cover plug.

Going to miss the lower drain plug on the stock housing when I get my ProRock in

The thing I don't particularly like about the solids are the color. Everything else is painted black underneath. I might have to buy an additional $8 worth of spray paint if I go with the Solids.
I'll sell you a TF d44 for $40. Used but in good condition.

Thanks for the help and all the suggestions.

I decided to go with the Solid Dana 30 and Dana 44 covers. $150 Total with shipping.
I also decided to get a Dana 30 and Dana 44 Lube Lock gaskets. $50 for the set.

Yep, fluid changes are a little messier having to pull the cover everytime.

I went with ARB front and back, in black, (12 Sahara Unlimited), cause I like the looks, (and was starting to show some leakage in the rear.) Wayalife has some decent write-ups, and one of them is about diff covers.

Our daughter has a 12 2dr Rubi in Dozer, and she painted the Poison Spyder logo in Dozer touch up paint. It actually looks pretty good, and if it didn't, it could just be painted over in Black again.
