I use Rough Country disco's too. They do their job, but I already had to replace the heim joints on both. They wear pretty quick. Otherwise they do work great. Also with RC's mounts, you can change the links to virtually any other brand, I'll be switching mine out for Synergy's.

Has anyone tried the Metalcloak disconnects? They are about half the price of the JKS, I was thinking about ordering those.

Best disconnects are:

Craftsman 18mm Ratcheting Combination Wrench - Tools - Wrenches - All Open Stock Wrenches
and
18mm Wrench Long from Sears.com
with a few of these:
generic 100 White Nylon Cable Zip Ties Self Locking 4.8mm 12" - Tools - Hand Tools - Shop Aprons

A little off topic, but is there any significant advantage to disconnecting with only a 2.5" lift (with 35s)?

Disconnecting the sway bar allows your front axel to articulate as you crawl over obstacles. This keeps your tires on the ground, thus keeping traction as you attempt to clear those obstacles. It really depends on what type of off roading you plan on doing. Have you trimmed, or switched to flat fender and trimmed your pinch seams ?

This may be a bigger set up than you have but it's the best depiction I have seen of not disconnected vs disconnected.

There is a significant advantage to disconnecting with stock height and stock wheels... so yes with 35's and 2.5 you will get more flex disconnected offroad and thus a more stable ride in the cab.

I used to recommend JKS, but their customer service is garbage and their warranty is useless.
