Just wanted to update how the beads did. I am balanced on 37" Mickey Thompson Baja Mtz up to 80 mph with 10 oz of air soft pellets per tire. If I were doing it again, I would add another oz or two per tire to be safe. They are cheap. Overall, I balanced my 37" tires on beadlocks for around $16. Not bad at all.

I have never tried them, but two of my club members said NO, one said they didn't work well. The other complained of the "Rain-Stick" sound at slow speeds. ??? I have no real experience only hearsay.

Someone told me about the sound but after a week of driving, I have yet to hear it. I was skeptical, but glad I did it.

I'm using on my 33" Nitto Dune Grapplers on stock 17" Rubicon wheels that were bead locked by OMF. They recommended them and they have worked perfectly.

So am I paranoid about the "Rain" sound or is it a non-issue? Warning I have OCD and am easily annoyed by sounds that shouldn't be there.

The only time I can the beads in my wheels is when I am rotating my tires. I've never heard them while driving or wheeling.

GREAT Thanks for the reply. Are you using the actual "Dyna Beads" or BBs?

The ones I use are Magnum Plus and are TPMS conpatable. They are made of a silicone material and are quiet. They come in several different size pouches (4, 6.5, 8 oz) and have new cores for your valve stems.

Far as I can tell the air soft pellets do the job. All 5 tires for less $ than one tire of dynamic beads.
