Rr mirrors work well with additional piece added to passenger side. I spent a few years using hinge mounts..... Never again one less thing to do for doors on / off.
Rr mirrors without spacer to move it out are useless.

I'm looking on amazon for some. Does anyone know if it should be 8 mm thread or 10 mm thread?

I use the ditech mirror mounts also. My Jeep stays out in a public parking lot at night, so I take the doors off in the morning and put them back on every night. I got a spare set of OEM mirrors, put them on the ditech mounts, and it takes me all of 2 minutes and a ratchet I keep in the center console to get the doors on or off. They are factory mirrors in the factory location with no vibration to speak of. I recommend them as often as I can.

Only pic I have handy:

Die tech mirror brackets are the best.

Great idea. How thick is this spacer?

Go die tech. No vibration problems. Also recommend the spare set of factory mirrors if you've got the cash.

I need to get on this... Took the doors off today and just ran with no mirrors with no problems. Thanks for all the ideas! I have power mirrors on my new JKU so I will have to get mirrors that go in the door hinge.

What do I search for to buy these online? Are they called something specific? Are the mounts a specific size? To they just go in the top hinge? I figured if they were Harley mirrors, they'd be more expensive.

Thanks

On my 2010: These were off my '88 Springer Softail. I used the convex spot mirrors on the vents as well. No vibration. Worked for me!
