Default Drive Shaft Snapped on Freeway

Felt some vibrations doing 70 then boom! Limped the mile home and took these pics. 6000 miles or so on my Jeep. Hadn't been on a trail in two weeks or so either.
Not the best way to start my day. Anybody had a similar experience or can guess the cause?
Thanks

Aftermarket shaft? Who makes it? I'm sure they will be more than happy to take care of that for you.

better your shaft than your t-case which is what typically happens. if you've had the vibes since day one, the shaft was most likely out of balance out of the box and or, you have too much positive caster.

Wow, any collateral damage to other components? If not I'd say you got lucky. I had a torsion bar snap on me once and it sounded like a shotgun went off under the truck. No other damage but with that thing spinning you can only imagine the potential collateral damage.

Thanks for the reply! Vibes literally just started right before the break. Had it aligned recently after a new tie rod install and it was within the stock specs. Well at least according to the printout.
Dealer installed lift and shaft before I purchased. Evo has been my doing stuff, gears, tie rod, etc since. Might just have them replace it rather than fighting with the dealer. Any brand recommendation? J.E. Reel?

Pinion angle of would also be a contributing factor

Didn't look like it except for a piece of foil insulation. Looks like it was close to hitting the LCA.

Are the "stock specs" still good for the "lifted specs"?

Stock front pinion angle is NOT good for an aftermarket driveshaft which is double cardan design. And it looks like that exhaust pipe has some dents as well.

I thought guys were swapping to aftermarket shafts to deal with the angle? So the stocker handles the angle better?
I have a gnarly angle going so hopefully I don't grenade a DS or t case soon
