K&N has to be oiled, or it won't hardly filter anything.....i'm not a fan of the oiled filters thats why i went with the AEM dryflo......AEM is owned by K&N or vice versa.....

They are designed to be oiled. Safe and rugged ridge both make a dry filter

Amsoil has a dry filter also I run one in my wifes Liberty & it breathes much easier & performance is much better, to clean use a vaccume or LOW pressure air

I'm probably going to go this route with the JK
