just a word of warning about the fuse pull method...
If you get in a wreck and the insurance agent finds that youve pulled the fuse(disabling the ABS, note: esp can be off) then you wont get jack. A buddy with a LR discovery did the same thing(he wanted his abs off as it sucks balls on slippery trails) and ---well hes not too happy.
Just do the right thing and follow the manual to turn the esp(and only esp) off.

What about traction control? I want to turn off traction control so when i'm in the mud i can get my tires spinning so they will "clean out". Unless i'm reading the manual wrong it says the tract cont. stays on all the time. Is this right?
