Just do the right thing and follow the manual to turn the esp(and only esp) off.

Yes, I do but the dealership told me they did the reflash that I got from wolette's post. Still doesn't work.

Hmm. Not sure then.

I never got a chime when I turned mine off and it worked on the first try. I did it without the engine running.

What about traction control? I want to turn off traction control so when i'm in the mud i can get my tires spinning so they will "clean out". Unless i'm reading the manual wrong it says the tract cont. stays on all the time. Is this right?
