to determine axle offcenter, if im not mistaken: you should be able to tell by looking at your tires. if one side sticks out further than the other side, lets just say, the driver side was 3 inches from the edge of your fender flare and pass side was 2 inches past the edge of fender flare, the your axle would be off center. not very scientific, but thats how i i figurted out myu rear axle was not centered.

sorry man, wasnt trying to be an ass, our thinking is different from computers
This can occur very simply by giving the wheel a sudden input ( correction of sufficient magnitude) while in a constant radius turn.

What was the posted speed on the offramp curve where you doing 40 MPH?

it dosent always mean your going to fast at all .... sometimes when you have a lifted jk.. it just comes on at weird times..... i would just turn it off... i rather be in control and not have the computer putting the brakes on when i dont want them.. i think it causes more problems than help..

Highly doubt the computer is going to activate TCS in a BAD situation. It's there and senses when you're about to lose control, not when you actually want to drift around a corner? What I think anyways...

I have had some additional time to drive with this issue and have some updates:

I did re-center my axle - even though it was on 1/2 inch off, just wanted to make sure. It is still having this issue. I am absolutely not speeding, I have this issue around exit and entrance ramps that are posted 50mph when I am only going 40. It doesn't happen all the time, and seems to happen less now that I have re-centered. I am taking it to the dealer to reflash for the larger tire size to see if that helps. Please stop giving feedback to slow down (I am 35 years old and am over my speeding days). I am working through a legitimate issue that others here have had after adding larger tires and a lift.

1. turn jeep on
2. set to 4hi
3. set parking brake
4. make sure steering wheel is centered
5. turn wheel to the right, 180 degrees, JEEP logo should be upside down at this point - hold ESP off button for 7 seconds, you may hear a chime at 5 seconds(and ESP OFF may show up on the speedo), but keep holding for 7 seconds!!!!
6. Turn wheel back to center then left 180 degrees, JEEP logo should be upside down at this point - hold ESP off button for 7 seconds, again, hold for 7 seconds!!!
7. turn back to center, and hold ESP for 7 seconds.
8. Turn Jeep off
Not a good idea The OP has a problem with the alignment, ESP of something like that. He has to find the problem, not masking it

My wife has an 07, 2inch BB, 33's. ESP has come on turning right since i bought it. When I say truning right I mean off ramps and sweeping rights around 35 to 40 mph not just a normal right turn.
It has been to the dealer twice, still does it. Stearing wheel has been centered and rechecked. Stearing position sensor replaced. It is just something I live with now. If you find a solution tell the dealer, they will never figure it out on their own. And why only Right turns

I know it isn't normal. I drive an 09 with 3.5" lift and 35's never had it come on once. It is just not as simple as centering the wheel or driving too fast.
