EVO 14" coilovers on a 2 door JK?
my plan on my jeep is to cut the frame in the rear and have a flat warn type of bumper with out a tire carrier that sticks out about half an inch past the body. this will reduce the number of inches i will have to stretch the wheel base with 40in tires to stick out the back a little.
How far would the rear axle on a 2 door JK have to be pushed to get 38" tires to protrude past the rear bumper? How important would this be for running trails such as Blanca and Independence (in CO)? I hear these are some of the hardest in the state, rated 10/10 and requiring minimum of dual lockers, 35" tires and body armor.
Picked the Jeep up yesterday and so far I am very impressed with the highway improvement this system has made. All of the bad manners I was looking to eliminate are gone. Spring rate and valving are right on. I can't wait to hit the rocks!
Nice to see a 2dr sporting the coilovers. You gotta get some pics with the RE radius arms and coilovers.
