I just read the info on that exhaust..it's not a "bolt-on" because it uses "clamps". i've seen exhaust that uses gaskets in between flanges and held together by bolts.

Seriously, how loud is it with no muffler at all?

To me it is not loud at all. I have a very high tolerance though. My TA has long tube headers no cats and single chamber flowmasters. you can hear that from over a mile away, and it seems fine to me.

Same thing. You don't plan on welding those clamps do you? If not, then it still is using a bolt.

when i was changing to the gibson bolt on exhaust....i turned it on and ran around muffler-less just to test it out....i loved it. haha it sounded great. I dont know how illegal this is, so i threw on my gibson which sounds good but i have not noticed any performance gains.

Here is two write-up on how to do it yourself. It would be simple to just add a skid plate to protect the muffler after it is relocated.

Magnaflow exhaust

or mine

glasspak exhaust

I had a 80 series Flowmaster put on yesterday. It has a nice little rumble and sound good accelerating. No drone cruising. It was designed for a Camaro so it has 2 outlets. Looks like I have duals.
