Default OR-Fab Front Bumper Install Tips

It looks like my OR-Fab front bumper (winch w/ stinger model) just shipped out. Hopefully next weekend I'll be installing it

For anybody who's installed this (or any aftermarket bumper) are there any tips/tricks I should be aware of to make the install easier?

Hardest part for me (got the same one) was getting the factory bumper off. once that is off, its a walk in the park.

Not the OR-Fab Stinger/bumper, but it'd be true with any front bumper - it takes longer to get the stock ones off than it does to put the aftermarket ones on

Thanks Red! I'll send you a PM shortly, although from looking at the instructions it looks pretty straight forward.

On a related note, my bumper arrived today

It was a sight to see the UPS guy man-handeling that box trying to get it out of his truck and onto his dolly

I must say, the OR-Fab guys did a top notch job packaging this bumper. I had to cut the box open, because it was sealed shut with all the expanding foam they used as padding. There was no chance in heck that this bumper was getting harmed during transport.

Hopefully this weekend I can get my bumper and winch installed

Biggest part is getting the winch in with the shackle points lined up lol. If you're not doing a winch too it should be an easy install.

Thanks, I would appreciate seeing that link. I searched, but didn't see one.

Also,

Here is a picture of the bumper still inside the box:

Again, very impressed with how well this thing was packaged.
