That should be easy .

On a side note though - install the winch on the bumper BEFORE you install the bumper - it can be somewhat of a pain to install the winch after the bumper's installed. However, this will also mean that you can toss the 125lb weight out the window since it will be quite a bit heavier

Good point. The instructions do mention installing the winch before mounting, and from looking at how some of those bolts line up, I could see how it would be easier to do so before mounting the bumper.

And, like you said, 125 Lbs is out the window... my math puts it now at about 205 Lbs

Here ya go.

It was an easy installation by myself. But since you have the stinger, that probably made handling the bumper twice as difficult.

LOL. I think between a certain Killer, a pediatrician, a diver or Crush, you have a large talent pool available to you.

It's lighter than a Smittybilt XRC and most other bumpers we helped friends install. It isn't heavy and I did it by myself (not saying to do that since I think the paperwork has you get a friend to help). Only help was getting the winch plate figured out and later discovered that it would have been easier had I done things differently (read the instructions).

Thank you, that was a good read. I didn't think about taking the grill off... I'll have to keep that in mind.

I can completely see how this would be lighter.... some of those bumpers, especially the full width ones.... WOW.

Considering my luck, and ability to screw things up, I think I'll try and con some friends into helping... plus, it's always a good chance to hang out with fellow Jeepers

I don't know about your setup, but if i had of removed my grill I would not have been able to reinstall it without removing my bumper again. My winch is about 1/2 too big to let the grill slide by. RR 10.5k

Agree about the spacing...we have the SB X10 and same problem but that's because they have to get the bumper in as far as it'll go (closer to grill) so that the approach angle is better.

Does SB X10 mean the Smittybilt XRC-10?

...because thats what I bought.

If so, does that mean that I would be better off NOT removing my grill as it might make it difficult to reinstall it with the close tolerance between the winch and the grill?
