Default Fender trimming/cutting

I'm looking for ideas for modifying the factory flares for more clearance. My factory 32's wore out and I up'ed to 33's. I have been trying to keep the lift to a minium but don't like the roller skate look. I guess I'm old skool but I like a little clearance in the wheel wells. Any ideas other than the $500 Xenons would be apprec. Thanks all.

Many have done this as well. Works VERY well and is $0.

I trimmed mine close to what Suffolk JK did. Added the trim and they worked great for clearance. But I sure slung a lot of water when it rained... and mud/sand too!

I just got some Xenons for clearance and tire coverage. So - if you want my trimmed ones, I will send them to you - just pay for the shipping from my zip - 19711... let me know.

Awesome, thanks much. Guess I didn't hit the keywords in my search. Time to get out the grinder.

Have at it! Should be really fun in the mud.

Might get the evil eye from Johnny Law if you are hosing down everyone behind you on the highway. Here's a thread on the topic:

Florida is kind of strange for truck laws - couldn't find any restrictions on fenders or mud flaps, but Florida did make it a crime to have "truck nutz"!
