Indeed you make a good point about the studding..This involves taking out the studs during summertime etc..

Thank you
I think you mean the KM2 MT right?
I have them in a 305 70 16 and I like them. They work probablly work a little better than the Destination MT's (with out studs) in snow.

I would get the BFG AT KO for a extreme winter tire over either of these MT tires though.

I don't know where your shopping, but generally KM2s are decent anount more expensive. And they are an MT, not AT. IMO, they are a far superior tire. I'm either going with the KM2s or Mud Country's simply due to siping.

Should be 7.5"

Look on the back of a wheel and it will be cast into it.

They are asking here $255 for a Destination M/T. ( I don't believe Discount Tire and/or Belle Tire are carrying these) Hence I have to deal with a Firestone outfit.

I think I see a decision in front of me...(KM/2 with siping).. I will get a good price at Discount Tire and they still have a rebate till the end of this month.. They also do siping for $ 10,00 per .. (Belle Tire is death set against siping..they claim it will ruin the tire, overheating, etc. May be the guy I talked to was somewhat "overheated" as well.. don't know..)

TNX agn for the feedback
I think the overheating is BS also........ BUT siping CAN cause the tread to chunk off if wheeld hard in the rocks.

Bridgestone/Firestone makes great tires. The destination LE, A/T, and M/T are all great tires. I put a set of Destination LEs on my sister's Cherokee and a set of A/Ts on my my fathers Ram. I don't work for Firestone or anything, but they're the best tires for the money IMO.

The Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos in had on my Cherokee were the best A/Ts I've ever run. By a long shot, and I've had a lot of A/Ts...

I run the M/Ts without difficulty. I think they're great.

I got mine from Tire Rack and no tire shop (including NTB & Discount) could touch the price, even when factoring in shipping. Discount gave the best price for mounting with lifetime balance/rotation. They'll even warantee them for a few bucks a tire! Can't beat that!
My buddy had "those" Firestones years back when they were failing. We went on a road trip and two of them failed. Firestone got everything they deserved.

I love my Destination MT's.
Quiet on the road (I actually wanted them to be louder than they are!) smooth even at 120kph, handle great and look great. We'll see how they perform when I get to hit the trails this year but based on reviews they should be awesome!
