I want to get a Flexatruck soon. From what I have read, it sounds like it will be a good investment.

Default Roxzilla Modeling The Flexatrunk

Here are some pics of the trunk installed. I have had it over a year already. My "trunk" area gets lots of hard use (dog crates, tools, etc.), hence all the scratches.

Lastly, It looks like you leave the carpet in underneath the flexatrunk. Has anyone had any problem with the carpet getting wet and not being able to dry?

Thanks

re; weight: I carry/keep my golf clubs on the top, often I carry two sets (couldn't as easily fit clubs before, but now they're above the w-wells)... freedom panels fit up top (more easily w/o clubs ) don't know about "in"... no room there in mine after tools etc. but you should protect against scratching if that makes a diff to you ... have put lots of full grocery bags there... it will flex under too much or poorly positioned load, don't know limits of warp or break... I love it

They have cutouts for the sub. I have one in mine and it kind of acts like an enclosure.

Default Flexatrunk

I have a flexatrunk and have mixed thoughts. It is good in theory but isn't real solid and takes to long to dissassemble. I wouldn't do it again. I would build an all metal one. The bestop could be broken into if someone gave it a hard shot to the center panel with a hammer pretty easily.

I don't have power locks so it is a pretty secure solution and works easily. I am still not sure there is a better solution out there. I hardly ever brak mine down and when I do it seems like the panels take a beating.

I have a warrior rack on top and that seems like a GREAT added solution, but then again, more to remove when you need full access, which I hardly ever need.

i've had mine sitting in my room for the last month or so, still running the hard top at the moment and each weekend another jeep project has jumped over the flexatrunk in importance but with the weather getting nice and my trek top on the way i hope to install the flexatrunk this saturday
