Fox ATS steering stabilizer
like you say its all a gamble to some degree i understand , better than stock height though isnt it??? tucked a little higher . ?
cant believe how clean yours is compared to mine under there the salt it justs eats away at ours up in the north check out the difference on track bar lol
ill hit it all with paint in the better weather but it totaly eats stuff like a peranha fish

I actually painted mine under there when I pulled the stock stabilizer. We don't get much snow so they salt the main roads here 2-3 times a year. Also I'm really picky and spray one can on the underside every few tire rotations. It definitely helps. I also use gloss paint because it dulls so fast. And the ats is moved up yeah quite a bit from the stock location. If you rock crawl and bend tie rods often I might be a little hesitant to spend that much. But mine got flighty from what little lift I did get and this was worth a try from what has been written in the reviews about tightening up the steering. I have mine set on 21 clicks and I think the stiffest is 24. It just tracks straight now and centers itself. So it was worth it for me. My friend has the aev 3.5 lift, no correction brackets and his doesn't track any where close to mine. So it's one of those things you think isn't a big deal until you drive and then jump in the other and it's immediate. It's a noticeable difference. So, take that for what it's worth. I'm not trying to justify my purchase or trying to sell a fox product, I get nothing. It is a good product no question.
what paint do you use rustolium black gloss i used rustolium ruberised under coating when i got it and then went over and over every spring then in fall again too some times but it just pealed i mean check this out
i paint it all over when it gets this way but rust just gets everywhere under there and no matter what i use it appears im wondering about that rust reverser type stuff that turns dark then hit it with the paint like your using and yeh ill be adding the set up like you have most likely if my front sags from my poison spyder mid front & skid that weights in at 135 lbs
thats why i was interested in this ats shock i want to keep everything tight mine steers perfect right now no drift, wheel is tight as a drum . i almost hate to raise it at all with stiffer springs , due to the issue you mentioned about being flighty

I use this stuff after I steel brush and wipe down with a damp water and alcohol cloth. Let dry a few hours and then rustolium black gloss. I do pull the tires and put it up on jack stands just because it's a lot easier to get to everything. So I usually do it when it's time to rotate the tires. Drop it down when finished and then get the frame rails and whatever else before I run out of paint. I spray everything except coils. It definitely helps and the gloss dulls pretty quickly.

I'm not a pro, but use the regular alcohol. Squirt a carpenters rag with it and then wet the rag to get wet. My thought was the alcohol just helps it dry quicker. I don't necessarily get it clean but I wipe it all down after brushing. And yeah I can't get to everything so I just spray away. I used the rubberized stuff on my grill and it's starting to peel. It's going to have to be redone. Let me know what you think when you get the fox. Mine did have rust. The tie rod was rusted under the stock clamp. So I sprayed it all before installing the stabilizer.
then add my ps mid thats about ready to go on this spring ill get one of those fox stabilizers , then axle gussetts and synergy hd ball joints then deal with i go with just a spacer or if i get a good deal on some 18/59 s or something to that effect meanwhile ill need to change out tranny oil , and diff oil . that should keep me broke for a little bit
