Default Fox shocks???

im in the market for a new lift and love teraflex. having a two door, i feel the coil lift will be better because i get a higher lift and stiffer springs. i am undecided to get the lift with shocks(teraflex), or get it without shocks and order foxshocks. does anyone know how this lift is and/or how fox shocks will perform rather than the teraflex?? all pposts will be appreciated!!

I have the teraflex 2.5 coil lift with fox shox. I have the reservoirs on the front and the 2.0's in the rear. Rides great offroad but is stiff on road. I think if you went with 2.0's all around it would be a softer ride. It all depends on your usage. Rocks, sand, dd, mallcrawler, etc. The fox shocks are designed for hauling ass and are stiffer than other brands.

Default Love to FOX

I'm an old off road racer, ran FOX 2.0 steel body, like the fact that you a tune and rebuild the FOX easily. The New 2.0 Performance series do require a special needle to charge, so NOT as user friendly (would recommend steel body if you want to get into tuning your shocks). Tuning shocks is fun and easy.
We're running the factory FOX tuned Perf. Series on our 2012 JKU with a Teraflex 3", with 35" Toyo MTs, the ride is nice for a DD (just came back from SEMA) and has great off road control, I like it , no reason to charge tune. Will go to the steel body 2.5" in future for a later build we are doing.

I would love to get them for only like 100 more. But are they better than the teraflex vss?

Elka shocks tuned for Teraflex springs. Great on road ride, major badass off-road. After last year in moab on the trails I wanted to crawl under the jk and lick them. Vast improvement over the bilsteins I had on the year before in Moab.
