Be safe and avoid coil spring compressors.
X2. Swapped springs twice, lots of room without a compressor. Did not even need to disconnect a drive shaft. Could have been doing much longer springs without a problem.

I hear there is a chance of bending the axle plus being off centre won't help keeping things stable/safe. I removed my trams skid plate then jacked each side and put a stand close to the LCA mount. Once done the was happy to use the jack under the front pumpkin just to lower the weight of the axle. With two inch lift used compressors and undid lower brake caliper bolts to allow more axle movement

I have installed about 15 lift kits and tried it all..

Now I disconnect track bar, shocks, sway bar, brakes and remove both springs.

It takes time to remove it all but overalll time is so much faster and painless. I can install a spacer lift now in 2hrs. (assuming no rusted on parts...)

I own coil compressors and haven't used them in 3-4 years.
