Default Front differential problem

I just installed the 4.88 ring and pinion and while braking i heard a grinding noise from the front diff and the car was shaking...then i tried to drive and it only moved a little and it stoped again.

Really hope it not the ring or pinion.

Could be the brakes were not put back on correctly, but more than likely, it is the gears. Don't try to drive it anymore, have a flatbed tow it back to the shop.

oh man, not good. until you know for sure what's going on, i would have to say that you should have your jeep towed back to your shop and have it looked at.
