There are several different load ratings for new coils (stock @ 80 lbs; HD @150 lbs; extreme HD @ 300 lbs; etc). Because they are higher load ratings, they don't give as much.

When I replace the stock coils and BB spacers with the 2.5" HD coils, I got nearly 3.5" of lift. HOW?!? When I set the vehicle weight back down on the coils, there was virtually zero give, whereas the stock coils will give some.

You will get a slightly harsher ride, but you get a little extra lift too. And the off road performance is great.

I have been running the 2.5" spacers in the rear for about 8 months now, and with the OME coils up front, my JK has nearly Zero rake...looks mean. I just bought the rear coils this week to match because I finally found the money for a rear bumper and got it ordered.

The Old Man Emu front coil numbers that I have are OME619, and the rear coils are OME618.

I am also replacing the shocks/extensions with longer shocks since I am now at about a 3.5" lift instead of 2.5" which was what the shock extensions were designed for.
This is virtually the identical evolution of my own JK, but I ordered the 616 springs from Northridge. I'm now 40" from ground to lip of fender on all four corners. Jeep looks and drives great.

Here's what it looks like if you have the TF BB2.5" installed and add the TF 2.5" coil springs http://www.teraflex.biz/products/jk-...ront-pair.html. nothing was removed from the BB kit except the sag

Yes the fronts springs will give you a bit more than 3" less the sag from the weight of your bumper winch so you may end up where you are right now. The rear TF coils (had you gotten them too) only lift the rear 2" with this kit which helps level the Jeep. You may end up wanting a 1" spacer on top of your new front coils to get it where you want it if you just get the front 2.5" coils. Joe...thoughts?

FWIW - Teraflex used to sell an optional HD Budget Boost that would simple use a 3" coil in the front with the 2.5" spacer in the back to compensate for added weight in the front.
I never removed the front spacers, they are still installed.
