Thanks so much,,,,, If I start loosing too much trail time I might call. As always, Jeep people are the best, We hooked up with 9 others at our campground here and have had a blast with total strangers. They all live in motorhomes and drag jks or cjs or yjs behind the motorhome. Done metal masher, steel bender, cliffhanger, hells revenge and other trails with them and they are all over 65, as we are. Thanks again!

Okay got it fixed, after playing with it for a few hours testing power (12v) at plug and stuff I bit the bullet and went over to Moab 4x4 Outpost. They opened the cover and slid the plat over and it worked perfectly for them from there on. He cleaned it with brake cleaner, said he put anti-cease lube on it??? and put her back together. Labor and fluid $160.00

Should I be happy? Well I am back on the trails,,,,,,,,,but will use front locker [U]only[U] when I and totally stuck!

Glad to hear that you're up and running again!

Hosing out your diff with brake cleaner is a good idea every time you do a diff fluid change. It means that your new gear oil has a "clean slate" when it starts in that diff housing. I do mine every 30,000 km's (18,000 miles) religiously. So far, no issues.
