Those help a little. I gess what i am really wondering is if there are any surprises that i will run into or if its pretty straight foward. I know you have to cut all the factory control arm brackets off but i don't want to have to be waiting for some random part that i should have had before had.

Thanks

thats easy. make sure all the parts are there before hand.

I watched the install of the red 4 door. They had everything they needed.

Thanks for your help Piginajeep. One other question I will be removing a rusty's 3inch basic lift to install the FT do you think there will be any problems like something that may have been removed for that lift, it does not look like there is llot to the old lift.

no, even if there was, your replacing everything anyhow. just make sure you use anti-seize on all the joints, nuts and bolts.

I run the FT 4" LA kit, and had it installed by Screamin Lizard.

You might contact Gerry or Adam if you have specific questions in advance of the install. They're great guys, and are sponsors here on this forum.

BTW I am very happy with my lift, both on and off the beaten path.

I just installed a FT 6" long arm kit and the directions are not that clear on alot of things. Make sure to smooth all your cuts down so the new brackets will fit wright. And a tourch of some kind I think is needed unless you want to spend a month on grinding brackets off. You have to cut your gastank skid plate to fit over the new bracket for the rear and the new cross member for the transmission. The body mounts on the front has to be notched so you can bolt on your front brackets. Im sure there were other things but I cant recall them all right now. If you have a question just post it up and I will be glade to help.
