Default FT ultimate install HELP!

ok, so I started my install tonight, I'm following wayoflifes instructions. I got the front all assembled, but I need to know where to measure from to make sure everything is centered up good. And whats an accpetable tallerence to be off side to side, front to back. I'm noticing even though I made the arms all the exact length there seems to be a difference in distance front to back from left to right side. Also what angle should the front drive shaft pinion angle be? Might doesn't look to extreem but just want to make sure. I'm guessing its best to get it as close as I can, then have an alignment shop make sure its all centered up well??
any help and imput would be great!

A good place to start:

Measure stock control arms, shorten the upper ones from there(mine are almost all the way in) and go a little longer on the longer on the lowers. See how that feels when you drive. You kind of want to be able to do a slow turn, let go of the wheel, and it should come back to center and straighten out. I think the write up lists the lengths that WOL used.

Left to right adj with the track bar you should be able to dial that almost exact.

Recenter that wheel.

If you aren't real sure, you could get an alignment and have them set everything while it's on the machine.

I used wol specs for the front. You want 7-9 degrees of positive caster right?

I'm just worried that the axel will not be centered dead on. I guess I'll get it as close as I can then have it aligned.

Yes. This will help keep your Jeep driving nice and straight.

For one, it really won't matter if your axle isn't "dead on" center but if you have any doubts, take some more measurements from other places like the distance between your inner sidewalls and the sway bar or frame. Whatever the case is, save yourself some money and try to do all your own alignments - it really isn't that hard to do

Well I got 9 degrees front caster. Steers good so far. Rear axle is dead center track bar wise. Front is like 1/4 off, but I got tired messin with it. It looks like both axles are centered.. My 35's did rub on the out side of the stock bumper at almost full flex, with the wheel turned in.. I figured this might be normal.. I plan on getting a shrockworks mid length that would fix that. I need to dial in a bit more negative caster in the rear to get the pinion angle a little close for my liking. Over all it went great! Thanks WOL for the write up. This was my first lift install ever and it went pretty well!

Excellent!! I'm glad to hear you got everything installed by yourself and that my write-up was able to help you out. Please post some pics of your Jeep when you get a chance

Looks like it's time to change that signature line also.

here is a pic of my drive shaft angle.. Its about 10 degree difference between shaft and joint. you think It needs to be adjusted more? I also have a clank everyonce in a while in the rear when the suspension flexes, I think something just might be a bit loose, have to go back over the bolts make sure.

here is a pic of the lift
