Default full soft doors

Hey, does anyone know if the aftermarket is planning any full soft doors for the unlimited? It may help me decide on full doors or half doors some day.
Thanks,
Everett

Hey wilsowe, welcome to JK-Forum
Regarding your question, I have no doubts in my mind that Bestop will in fact come out with a set someday but I should warn you, if you've never run full soft doors before, they can be quite noisy. But then, it's a Jeep right?

I had soft doors on my old wrangler. Yes they are noisy, but so were the 35 inch goodyears and just about everything else on the jeep.

The winter/summer switch is why I'm asking. I had an 02 wrangler that I traded my full hard doors for a guys half doors and that was pretty cool but it's just not the same as blasting down the interstate at 75 with no doors at all. I figure full softs will make the no doors a little easier than trying to always find somewhere to put the large and relatively fragile full doors.

SOFT DOOR REVIVAL !!!

Any word on soft doors yet? Was thinking of going tubes but would much rather have softies for the summer. I have 2 chilluns to worry about in the back but would love to go 1/2 doorless without the worries.

the nice thing about soft doors is you can throw them in the back and if the weather turns bad, just put'm on. You can do that with steel halfs...

amen to that
Im a half door kinda guy and getting used to the full doors on my unlimited is taking a bit. I cant wait until they come out with some soft doors so i can cruise them to the beach then once im there take the doors windows and top down throw it all in the back and go for it.

Have you ever tried the sliding uppers? My good friend has them on his TJ with 1/2 doors and he was getting a BIGGIE size combo at Wendy's one night and couldn't get the drink into the window!! hahaha.... he had to open the door with his other hand and reach around to get it inside!! hahahaha. I laughed at him. They don't open very far. IMO, they are a good 'idea' that hasn't been perfected yet. I'm not bashing them, but I'd suggest you take a good look and try em out before you drop the $$ on em. You may not be happy with the results > I know he wasn't !
