when you get up to 4" of lift or more, you NEED track bar relocation bracket and a dropped pitman arm up front IF you want to keep the handling of your jeep good on pavement. likewise, not all relocation brackets are made equally and i can only assume that the one you saw was poorly designed.

WindyCityGuy this is Jeremiah who just sold you your Hanson set up. I just put the Full Traction long arm on my rig, I took off another company that I really like but I was blown away by the quality and completeness of the FT Kit. After working with FT for the past few months I have learned a lot about suspension and now that I have run their kit lots of my buddies are getting ready to switch over also. The FT front track bar relocation bracket sold on the 4" kits is one of the nicest I have seen, on a 3" kit I would run the adjustable track bars as it allows you to adjust for the weight of your rig. I am here to take care of the customer service for JK-Forum so if I can answer any questions or help in anyway don't hesitate.

Eugene give me a call, I will do my best to get you taken care of.

FT uses the mushroom type bushing, and I believe that something is not spec with my lift because when I measure the width of the bushings when installed in the arm, they are a bit wider than the sleeve. This means that when I torque the bolt, it pinches the bushing before it contacts the sleeve. I believe TF uses the rubber bushings similar to stock that won't allow you to pinch them in the brackets. I believe also that FT long arm uses the Johnny joint so it won't have the bushing isssue. If I had to do it over again, it probably would be TeraFlex.

Thanks Jeremiah - After reading more on here and other forums I have seen too many nasty posts on Full Traction. I am pretty sure I am going with the Teraflex 3" kit. Just trying to figure out what components to get. I think at this point I am doing the kit without shocks, buying two adjustable track bars (front and rear) and still trying to decide which shocks. I really need to keep the ride as good as possible on road...

Dear Wayoflife,

Could you be a little bit more specific? I'm in Mexico and just received my FT 3' Economy Lift... I'm worried for the things you mentioned and I don't want to make any mistakes when ordering the FT items you mentioned above.

I bought my FT 3" lift kit w/o shocks. I installed Bilstein 5100 shocks. It rides great on and off road.

Thanks Nobling, I did the same!

Did you purchase also the FT items mentioned by Wayoflife?
